Your smartphone becomes a door key

Demo Mode shows you different doors that don't actually exist in your network. They are only intended to illustrate how the app works and to show the various options. No functions can be activated for real entrance doors in Demo Mode. Real entrance doors can only be displayed and operated via “Start” or “Connect to existing lock”. You can deactivate the start screen with Demo Mode at any time via the settings in the app.
Note: Demo Mode will only be available to end customers during the first training.

The device settings are reset to the factory settings. All user settings (e.g. taught doors/users, time profiles, etc.) are deleted.

Make sure your mobile device has Bluetooth and location services enabled. A corresponding message will appear in the app. To check whether the lock is providing a radio signal, navigate to the Bluetooth tab in the settings. A device with the name “Winkhaus 123456” (6-digit number) should be displayed here. There is no need to manually pair with the device; the connection is established automatically via the app.

Case 1: At least 1 administrator has a password.
As an administrator you can reset the device to factory settings within the app under "Settings" -> "System". Afterwards, the lock can be taught in again and a new password can be assigned.

Case 2: No administrator password known (e.g. for house sales)
First remove the lower motor housing screw. Then select "Teach in new lock" in the app and scan the QR code (sticker on the motor housing or in the documents supplied with the lock). Now select the option "Reset to factory settings" and then press the reset button behind the motor housing screw with a pointed object within approx. 10 seconds. Afterwards, the lock can be taught in again and a new password can be assigned.

Start the app and log in as an administrator. Connect to the entrance door by tapping the Bluetooth icon, then select Settings (cog-wheel icon) -> System -> Reset to factory settings.

Your password must consist of at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one digit and one special character. The app will show you a corresponding message if the selected password does not meet the minimum requirements.

If the login password was entered incorrectly three times in succession, access is delayed or blocked for security reasons. On the fourth failed attempt, the delay lasts for six seconds and with each further failed attempt, the duration of the block is doubled. The block is intended to prevent an attacker from guessing your password using a so-called brute-force-attack. If a login attempt takes place while the block is in progress, the duration of the block is doubled, regardless of whether the password is correct or incorrect.
If you have entered the wrong password, simply wait a few moments for the block to be lifted and then try again. If the login attempt fails again, please make sure that you have entered the correct password and that the password has not been changed by the administrator.

As an administrator, connect to the front door and tap Settings (cog icon). Then select “Change password” and set a new password.

Connect to the entrance door and tap the blue lock icon. Wait a moment for the door to unlock. You will then see a red open padlock icon. The door is unlocked and can be opened. See video tutorial Video-Tutorial

The door is normally locked automatically by a motor (blueMotion+) or mechanically (blueMatic EAV4+) when closed.
If the blueMotion+ door is in day service mode – connect to the front door and tap the sun icon to switch back to night service mode. Wait a moment for the door to lock. You will then see a blue closed padlock symbol along with a moon symbol. The door is locked. See video tutorial ???LINK???

(NOTICE: App function for day service mode only available with blueMotion+, with blueMatic optional manual day service function!)
If your lock is in day service mode, you can also unlock the door without an app or key, as the locking elements are not automatically triggered when the door sash is closed in this operating state.
Connect to the entrance door and tap the blue moon icon. The following message is displayed: “Also release frame-side manual daytime latch/electrical door opener on the door”. Follow the prompt and tap “OK” or “Do not show this again”. You will then see a blue sun symbol. The door is unlocked and in day service mode.

(NOTICE: Function in the app only available with blueMotion+!)
If your lock is in night service mode, you can only unlock the door with the app or the key, as the locking elements are automatically triggered when the door sash is closed.
Connect to the front door and tap on the blue sun icon. You will then see a blue moon icon. The door is locked and in night service mode.

If you are Admin: Connect to the front door and tap Settings (cog icon). Now select “User” and “+ new user”. You can then assign a name (description), a user ID and a password. After tapping “Create”, you can assign a group to the user. You can choose between “Administrator”, “None (user deactivated)” or a group created by you with defined access times, e.g. for guests or domestic help. Up to 100 users can be created within the app.

Connect to the front door and tap Settings (cog icon). Now select the category “Users” and search for the desired person in the list. Then tap “Delete user” at the bottom.

Connect to the front door and tap Settings (cog icon). Now select the category “Users” and search for the desired person in the list. Then tap on “Group” and select the entry “None (user deactivated)”. The user is still listed in the user list, but no longer has access rights.

Connect to the front door and tap Settings (cog icon). Now select the category “Groups” and “+ new group”. You can then assign a name and a description. After you have tapped “Create”, you can assign individual access times to the group.

Connect to the front door and tap Settings (cog icon). Now select the category “Groups” and search for the group with the desired access time in the list. Then tap on “+ Create new user”. You can now assign a name (description), a user ID and a password.

Connect to the entrance door. On the home screen, you can see in real time if the door sash is open/closed and the lock is unlocked/locked and in day or night service mode.
Note: This only applies to the Bluetooth® or WLAN area of the entrance door.

Connect to the front door and tap Settings (cog icon). Now select the category “System” and WLAN. You can then search for your WLAN network (WPA2) and log in with your WLAN password.

The connection of the lock to WLAN is only available for devices with WPA2 encryption. If the router does not have the WPA2 security standard, the network will not be displayed.

For the access times to function properly and securely in the app, the system time of the mobile device must be the same as the app.

The message appears during initial start-up or as soon as the lock is disconnected from the power supply for approx. 30 minutes. Charging takes approximately 10 minutes; if the powerpack supply is then interrupted, the system can save the current system time for up to 30 minutes.
