Smartphone as a door opener
The intelligent generation of motorised security door locking systems from Winkhaus
Energy efficiency, security, convenience and design – modern entrance doors are true multi-talents when they are equipped with the latest generation of Winkhaus security door locking systems. They are smooth-running in summer and winter, reliably watertight and can even be controlled by app and networked with selected smart home systems if desired.
These and many other tasks are solved by the new security door locking systems from the Winkhaus blueMatic and blueMotion series. They offer reliable security for external doors: robust, convenient and particularly suitable in doors with a dark look. Furthermore, they provide burglary protection up to resistance class RC2. All common access control systems can be integrated via potential-free contacts. These include fingerprint, intercom, facial recognition, pinpad or button. Anyone who prefers to use a smartphone can now find the solution in the Winkhaus range. The manufacturer has developed a suitable app for the new security door locking systems with integrated radio module under the name doorControl.
Smooth operation and tightness at any time of year
Like its mechanical sister, autoLock AV4D, the new blueMatic EAV4 motorised automatic locking system is based on the tried-and-tested Winkhaus dual hook concept. Solid hooks ensure security, while the sealing elements hold the door firmly in position and thus leave no room for drafts. The newly designed geometry of the solid hooks reduces the sluggishness when closing and opening, especially in dark doors, which can occur due to deformation of the door sash under intense sunlight.
For convenient entrance doors: blueMatic EAV4
The blueMatic EAV4 automatic multi-point locking system is particularly convenient and secure thanks to the new powerful 24-volt motor. The door is locked by simply pulling it closed and unlocked again by moving the hooks back. It can be opened with all common access control systems – whether finger scanners, intercom systems or simply by pressing a button – and of course also with a conventional entrance door key.
For even more security – for example if you are away for a longer period of time – a holiday lockout function blocks the door handle from the inside and keeps the main bolt securely locked. Among other things, this also prevents small children from leaving the house unattended.
If the door is to remain unlocked during the day for access by customers, employees, residents or guests, the TaFa daytime latch is a practical additional feature: when activated, the hooks remain retracted for as long as desired. By the way, TaFa can be combined with all automatic door locking systems from Winkhaus.
Smartphone as an entrance door key: blueMatic EAV4+
The motorised Winkhaus security door locking systems marked with a “+” in the name can be opened via the app. It stands for a radio module integrated in the motor housing. This allows the door to be conveniently unlocked via the Winkhaus doorControl App which turns your smartphone into a door opener. This is done from nearby via Bluetooth or WLAN. No additional installations and control modules are required, saving technical work and costs.
Open and close with a click: blueMotion+
The new generation of the fully motorised blueMotion+ security door locking system offers the most convenient way to operate doors. Here, too, a 24-volt motor does all the work: it opens and locks the door by driving the solid hooks and the main deadbolt. Thanks to the powerful motor, the door sash sits extremely firmly and tightly in the frame.
The new blueMotion+ motor housing is also equipped with a radio module, which communicates with the smartphone and the installed Winkhaus doorControl App via Bluetooth or WLAN: open or close the door with just a few finger taps on the display.
A new feature in this series is the holiday lockout function, which keeps the door locked from the inside on request, while it can be opened from the outside, for example via the doorControl app. And the function performed by the daytime latch in blueMatic EAV is substituted in blueMotion+ by the day/night function, which is activated via app: During the day, the door can remain unlocked for visitors and customers, while it is securely locked at night.
For example, all three locking systems are compatible with the Somfy smart home system. The plus variants blueMatic EAV4+ and blueMotion+ can be integrated into the Mediola system. If required, the new security door locking systems are also available as an optional panicLock solution for emergency exit doors.
Door control with the doorControl App: farewell to the risk of losing keys!
The financial consequences of losing an access key can be considerable, especially in commercially used properties. Although keyless access control systems have been on the market for a long time, they have always been associated with additional costs for acquisition and installation. The doorControl App from Winkhaus for the semi-motorised security door locking system blueMatic EAV4+ and the fully motorised blueMotion+ offers an intelligent solution that meets both challenges – minimising the risk of loss and additional costs.
The free Winkhaus app enables intelligent doors to be controlled in close proximity – without the need for additional components. In future, users will only be able to operate entrance doors with their smartphones thanks to targeted authorisations. The smartphone itself is protected against unauthorised access by means of a PIN code, fingerprint or facial recognition. And if you ever lose your smartphone, that’s no problem either: authorisation can be easily disabled with a few clicks in the doorControl App via personal access.
Of course, all communication between smartphone and EAV4+ as well as blueMotion+ is securely encrypted. In addition to maximum security, the doorControl App offers numerous functions for maximum convenience. This includes logging of the last 1,000 locking events and intuitive user guidance.
To quickly set up new users, these individual authorisation groups can be assigned to their own time profiles if required. For example, it is possible to grant cleaning staff, care services or other user groups access only at certain times. Up to 100 users and 25 doors can be easily managed with doorControl.
The administrator of the app has the possibility to intervene in the detailed settings and, for example, adjust the latch retraction time and the acoustic signals as required. The doorControl App is suitable for installation on smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android).
This opens up a wide range of applications for the innovative technology that
eliminates the key chaos and makes the future of door control tangible today.
