A wide range of Winkhaus innovations attracted trade fair visitors
Convenience and safety for users, ease of work for professionals
Winkhaus surprised the industry at Fensterbau Frontale with a new sliding
fitting range for balcony and patio doors. The new motorised security door
locking systems with app control and barrier-free solutions for windows and balcony doors also proved to be visitors’ magnets at the stand in Hall 4.
The trade audience, who visited the stand in Nuremberg, was more international than ever. "The interest in our new products was great and the positive response exceeded our expectations. The focus was on our latest product family in the sliding area, primePort. Topics such as convenience and safety for users as well as easy processing and comprehensive services also impressed our customers from Germany and abroad," summed up Timm Scheible, Head of Sales and Member of the Management Board of the Winkhaus Group, after the trade fair appearance.
Complete sliding fitting series for a wide range of tasks
Above all, the new primePort product range impressed trade fair visitors. Closely surrounded were the exhibits, which showed how easy it is to build convenient and attractive slide-tilt, parallel action slide, retract-slide or lift-slide windows and balcony doors. The new range is characterised by high ease of use, easy processing and efficiency in production as well as a wide range of applications.
Barrier-free windows and balcony doors
Many visitors also showed great interest in the barrier-free solutions for use in windows and balcony doors. Thanks to the strong hinge side from Winkhaus, which can bear a sash weight of up to 150 kilogrammes, the activPilot Concept fitting can also be used to produce large window elements and combine them with thresholds at the same level.
In addition, the metalworkers among the trade fair guests discovered the
advantages of the aluPilot fitting system for aluminium windows in the commercial sector. The Winkhaus product range is now tailored to many system houses. New products in the range include opening limiters, including one for use in windows in schools and kindergartens in accordance with EN 13126-5. It ensures good indoor air quality and also reduces the risk of people falling out of the window. The balcony doors on the stand were also equipped with solutions in the property area as well as turn limiters, which primarily increase the convenience of the window and its function. To ensure that such large formats can be closed again particularly easily and conveniently from the tilt position, Winkhaus developed a suitable locking force optimiser.
Study for comfort windows
Winkhaus presented an implementation-ready study of a motorised window for the first time. The motors and control unit are mounted in the frame, as are the locking keeps. The response to the sample window shown was very positive and reassures Winkhaus to maintain this future-oriented course.
Open entrance doors with your smartphone
With blueMotion+, blueMatic EAV4 and blueMatic EAV4+, Winkhaus presented the new generation of motorised security door locking systems in Nuremberg. The highlight of the new blueMatic EAV4+ and blueMotion+ door locking systems is the
added convenience. This is ensured by an innovative motor housing with
integrated radio module, which communicates with the smartphone via Bluetooth® or WLAN. With this concept, the blueMatic EAV4+ can unlock the door, and the blueMotion+ can lock and unlock the door. Operation is simple and in line with current trends via Winkhaus’ own doorControl App (Android and iOS), turning the smartphone into a universal door opener. Additional access controls are possible, but not necessary. This saves technical effort and costs during door manufacture.
Secure access individually
A selection of mechanical locking cylinder series was also on display at the
Winkhaus stand – including the keyOne X-pert system, which impresses with its variety of types and is known as “stock cylinder”. At the same time, the locking system offers plenty of scope for individual special solutions.
The robust keyTec VSX+ toothed key system was newly presented. It features a patent-pending, novel combination of an undercut partially inserted into the key with optional undercut detection, known as “Active Undercut Detection” (AUD).
Electronic locking technology for home, work and clubs
In addition to the mechanical locking systems, the blueCompact electronic locking system, which can be configured via an app, was also presented. It scores points with flush-mounted electronic cylinders and an access reader for indoor and outdoor use. blueCompact is just as popular with fire brigades or sports clubs as it is with smaller companies or high-end homes. Especially if several doors are to be locked with one identification medium and access is to be controlled locally and at specific times.
